  1. First try for a complete GNU development kit:

  3. The kit is configured to use F: as its main disk, be sure to have around
  4. 12Mo of free disk space on this partition.
  5.  
  6. - unzip INSTALL.ZIP
  7. - copy ENVIRON.DAT to C:
  8.   You can edit this file to suit your needs , all the documentation is in
  9.   environ.arc file.
  10. - copy ENVIRON.PRG to C:\AUTO\
  11.  
  12. - reboot
  13.  
  14. - with unzip.ttp (nothing else please) uncompress disk*.zip on the F:
  15.   partition (just enter the name of the file to unzip in the parameter
  16.   dialog box after double clicking on unzip.ttp. Be sure to be in F: prior
  17.   to uncompress)
  18.  
  19. - Edit F:\BASH.RC and modify it to suit your needs (at least for the ramdisk
  20.   parameters and the alias to your favorite editor). THIS MUST BE DONE WITH
  21.   AN EDITOR THAT WILL STORE LINES IN UNIX MODE (i.e with <LF> and not
  22.   <CR><LF>). Everest can do the job, or microemacs, for instance. If you
  23.   really cannot find such an editor, launch F:\GNU\BIN\FROMDOS.TTP on your
  24.   modified BASH.RC file.

  26. - Launch BASH.PRG, and you're on your own.
